Andy & Kim’s Dunblane Wedding

It is being called the Scottish Royal wedding and whether you are an Andy Murray fan or not, I must say what I saw of the wedding I loved – particularly Kim’s Jenny Packham dress which was just beautiful!

Doesn’t Dunblane Cathedral look beautiful! I love this Twitter post too, that Andy put up on the morning of the wedding…

What are your thoughts on the wedding? Do you like Kim’s dress? Andy’s kilt? I think it all looked great – not sure about the bridesmaid dresses though, but Kim’s dress more than made up for that! xx

Loving… Elvis & Priscilla

I came across this fabulous photo of Elvis and Priscilla Presley on their wedding day (on Casarei) and just loved it. They both look so happy and so gorgeous – timeless!

Have a lovely Thursday and I will be back soon 🙂 x

Paul McCartney & Nancy Shevell Wedding

The wedding of Sir Paul McCartney… now that’s one I would like to have planned! Will just have to make do with blogging some of the pretty photos!

Former Beatle Paul McCartney married American heiress Nancy Shevell at MaryleboneRegistry Office over the weekend, with just 30 close family and friends present.

Nancy looked beautiful, happy and very chic in the wedding gown thought to be designed by Paul’s designer daughter Stella McCartney.

Nancy’s tiny bouquet of roses and hair flower both looked really pretty. I still don’t believe she is 51 – can’t be right?!

The newly wed couple emerged to a shower of rose petals and then moved on to Paul’s London house nearby for their wedding reception. More guests arrived for the celebrations, including Kate Moss, Ronnie Wood, Ringo Star, Twiggy and Mark Ronson!

I love that Paul was expected to perform his new song at the reception – as a gift to his new wife – aaahhh! According to the Daily Mail the former Beatle will unveil the song on what would have been John Lennon’s 71st birthday.

Hope we get to see some pics from inside – would love to get a peek at the flowers, table set ups etc!

I love this image, taken by Paul’s other daughter Mary McCartney – as the official wedding portrait!

Paul and Nancy apparently went to the gym together on the morning of the wedding –  that is motivation if ever I saw it!

Although not sure I would advise any of my brides to go to the gym on the morning of their wedding… serenity and calm is required/preferred – with no or little risk of injury!

Congratulations Paul & Nancy – they do look very happy.

Kate Moss Wedding Photos

As we all know, unless you have been hiding away somewhere dark and quiet for the last few months, Kate Moss recently married Rockstar Jamie Hince in the beautiful Cotswolds – looking every bit the super model she is!

Kate had famous photographer and good friend Mario Testino as her wedding photographer, and these are his photos from the September issue of American Vogue.

Being who she is, a fabulous wedding dress was expected and she certainly delivered, with a vintage inspired gown made by her good friend John Galliano. Before the wedding Kate told Vogue about her dress – ‘A classic Galliano, those chiffon thirties kind. I’ve lived in his dresses for years, and they just make me feel so comfortable. But it’s so much more couture, couture, couture. Oh, my God, the work that’s going into the dress!’

Above, Kates gorgeous daughter, Lila Grace, looked like a mini version of her – carefully helping her Mum out of the car! Beautiful classic white roses were featured heavily throughout the wedding and look great.

This fabulous wedding cake was created by Peggy Porschen (of course!). I love the different size/shape tiers and the floral base.

You can see that they went for long tables in the marquee, with fairly simple flowers and decoration, but they really got it right! The chairs and lights make a big difference to the look – both of which I love.

I love the cut crystal glasses and simplicity of the place settings on the tables – looks very pretty. The place cards are white cards with the guests names written by a calligrapher.

As a supermodel, it would be wrong not to have some “model” type shots and I just love these ones! The one below is their modern day Mick and Bianca Jagger – re-creating the 1971 backseat wedding portrait by royal photographer Lord Lichfield.

This is another great one – in keeping with the lovely whimsical feel of the rest of the wedding. Kate is wearing a Rodarte paillette coat and beaded lace dress and Jamie is wearing Lanvin velvet.

What a beauty of a wedding – now that is one I would have loved to have planned!! 🙂
